With PureLoad you get the ability to simulate large number of clients using different protocols needed in order to secure scalability and performance of Diameter or Radius solutions or nodes.
With PureLoad you get support to verify a large set of the functionality based on Diameter and Radius available in AAA, IMS, and EPC solutions and nodes. PureLoad use a full-stack simulations for Radius and Diameter giving realistic simulations also of the network layer traffic.
With PureTest you get the ability to create complex test cases for functional tests. Tests can of course be automated. Tests developed with PureTest can be re-used with PureLoad forming a base for performance tests.
For load test, different traffic models and load functions can be applied simulating a large number of simultaneous sessions mirroring live traffic patterns. This enables the possibility to perform realistic load-, stress-, and other characteristics-test in an unrivaled way.
Using the Radius support in PureLoad you can test nodes as authentication servers, proxy servers, or as a home Radius server sitting together with a user db. Traffic from end users can be simulated, for example testing wifi off-loading including EAP-AKA authentication of users.
Using the PureLoad support for Diameter tests can be done for nodes or systems such as Diameter Routing Agent, DRA, and Diameter Signaling Controllers, DSC.
For traffic from other nodes in IMS and EPC networks such as HSS and PGW there is support for a number of Diameter protocols for client- and server-side simulation. As an example PureLoad can be used with Diameter Rx testing the EPC/IMS interface between a CSCF and PCRF.
Inside an IMS network another example is where Application Server or HSS nodes can be tested using Diameter Sh.
