IPv4 and IPv6

PureLoad can simulate both IPv4 and IPv6 traffic.

IPv4 and IPv6

Both IPv4 and IPv6 is supported by all tasks. To test using IPv6, OS and network must support and be configured to use IPv6.

Simulating multiple IP addresses

PureLoad supports simulation using different IP addresses (IPv4 or IPv6) by setting the source IP address to be used. This means that you can simulate different IP addresses from the same physical host.

To do this you also have to configure the OS to support multiple IP addresses.

For larger test, using many different IPs, as well as many concurrent connections, we recommend Linux and the the "Any-IP Support" on Linux

IP Pool Tasks

To support management of many IP addresses, use our support built into the IP Pool Tasks.
